The Commandment to Fight for the Oneness of Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was commanded by Allah to fight people until they accept the oneness of Allah and that those who do so will be safe from him, except for any rights due, and their reckoning will be with Allah.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship but Allah). Whoever says La ilaha illallah, his wealth and his life are safe from me except for a right that is due, and his reckoning will be with Allah".

Spread the message of monotheism , Respect believers in monotheism

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the commandment given by Allah to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was instructed to fight people until they accept the oneness of God, which is expressed in Arabic as “La ilaha illallah”. This means that there is no one worthy of worship but God. Those who accept this statement are promised safety from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) except for any rights due, and their reckoning will be with God alone. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to spread the message of monotheism and also respect those who believe in it. We should also remember that our ultimate judgement lies with God alone.
