QUICK LESSONS:
Show love and affection towards those close to you in a respectful manner
EXPLANATIONS:
According to a hadith narrated by Hisham's father, Aisha reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to kiss some of his wives while he was fasting. This indicates that kissing is permissible during Ramadan, even though it is generally discouraged as it can lead to other activities which are not allowed during fasting hours. The hadith also shows us the importance of being mindful and aware of our actions when we are fasting, as even something as small as a kiss can be considered breaking one’s fast if it leads to further activities which are not allowed. Additionally, this hadith serves as an example for us on how we should conduct ourselves in our relationships with others; showing love and affection towards those close to us in a respectful manner.
