Have your own will prepared in case something happens unexpectedly

This hadith emphasizes the importance of having a will, or testament, for Muslims. A will is an important document that states what should happen to one's possessions and assets after they pass away. In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad said that it is not befitting for a Muslim to abide for three nights without having his will with him. Abdullah bin Umar then said that since he heard this from the Messenger of Allah, he has always had his will with him.
