This hadith is about donating wealth in charity. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar that Umar said to the Prophet that he had acquired 100 shares of Khaibar and he liked it more than any other wealth he had ever acquired. He wanted to give it away as charity but the Prophet advised him to freeze it instead and donate its fruits. This teaches us that when we have something valuable, we should not just give away what we have but also think of ways where our donations can be beneficial for a longer period of time. We should use our resources wisely so that they can benefit others for a longer period of time rather than just giving away what we have at once.
