Follow Islamic teachings regarding marriage & divorce; Treat each other kindly even during difficult times; Respect marriage laws set forth by God; Take back your spouse until they become pure again before deciding whether or not you want them back; Follow what has been prescribed for your own benefit & well-being .

This hadith explains the process of divorce as prescribed by Allah. According to this hadith, if a man wishes to divorce his wife, he must do it twice and with kindness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that if a man divorces his wife while she is menstruating, he should take her back until she becomes pure again and then decide whether or not he wants to keep her or let her go. This is the type of divorce that has been enjoined upon us by Allah Almighty who says in the Quran “The divorce is twice, after that either you retain her on reasonable terms or release her with kindness”(2:229). Therefore it can be concluded from this hadith that when it comes to matters of marriage and divorce we must always follow what has been prescribed by our Creator for our own benefit and well-being. We should also remember to treat each other kindly even during difficult times such as these.
