Prohibitions in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prohibited certain practices such as 'bringing', 'avoidance' and Shighar, and warned that anyone who commits robbery is not a Muslim.

It was narrated that Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no 'bringing', no 'avoidance' and no Shighar in Islam, and whoever robs, he is not one of us'."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لاَ جَلَبَ وَلاَ جَنَبَ وَلاَ شِغَارَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ فَاحِشٌ وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ بِشْرٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us about the prohibitions in Islam. He said that there is no 'bringing', which means to bring two people together for marriage without giving any dowry or gifts to each other. There is also no 'avoidance', which means to avoid marrying someone because of their family or tribe. Lastly, there is no Shighar which refers to exchanging two daughters in marriage without giving any dowry or gifts. Furthermore, the Prophet warned us that anyone who commits robbery will not be considered a Muslim. This hadith teaches us about the importance of following Islamic laws and regulations when it comes to marriage and other matters related to it. It also reminds us of the consequences of committing crimes such as robbery and how it can lead one away from being a true believer in Allah's teachings.
