EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad to Maimunah while he was in a state of Ihram. It is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet married Maimunah when he was in a state of Ihram and appointed Al-'Abbas as her guardian for her marriage. This hadith teaches us that even though it is prohibited for Muslims to get married during their pilgrimage, it is permissible if they are already engaged before entering into a state of ihram. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about appointing guardians for marriages which is an important part of Islamic law. It also shows us how important it was for the prophet to follow Islamic laws even though he himself received revelation from Allah directly.
