Strive to do what is right even if it means sacrificing something important or enduring hardship.

This hadith teaches us about the rewards for those who sacrifice in the cause of Allah. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said, “No one is wounded in the cause of Allah - and Allah knows best who is wounded in His cause - but he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wounds bleeding the color of blood, but with a fragrance like musk”. This means that those who are injured while fighting for what is right will be rewarded by Allah on Judgment day. Their wounds may still be visible, however they will have a pleasant smell like musk instead of pain or suffering. This hadith reminds us to always strive to do what is right even if it means sacrificing something important or enduring hardship because we can trust that our reward lies with God and He will not forget our efforts.
