QUICK LESSONS:
Do something for the sake of Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the superiority of serving Allah over worldly pleasures. It was narrated by Sahl bin Sa'd that the Messenger of Allah said, “Going out before noon or after noon, in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, is better than this world and everything in it.” This means that doing something for the sake of Allah is more rewarding than anything else we can do in this world. We should strive to serve Him with our time and energy as it will bring us closer to Him and reward us with His mercy. We should not be distracted by worldly pleasures as they are fleeting and will not bring us any lasting benefit or joy.
