The Protection of Fear for Allah

SUMMARY: Weeping out of fear of Allah will protect one from the Fire, and the dust of Jihad and the smoke of Hell will never be combined.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: "No man will enter the Fire who weeps for fear of Allah, Most High, until the milk goes back into the udders. And the dust (of Jihad) in the cause of Allah, and the smoke of Hell will never be combined".

QUICK LESSONS:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how fear for Allah can protect us from entering into the fire. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that no man who weeps out of fear for Allah will enter into the fire until milk goes back into its udders. This means that it is very unlikely to happen as it is impossible for milk to go back into its udders after being taken out. He also said that dust in the cause of Allah and smoke from Hell would never be combined, meaning they are two completely different things and cannot mix together. Therefore, this hadith teaches us to always have a sense of fear for Allah so we can stay away from entering Hellfire.
