SUMMARY: A man was crushed to death by his she-camel and the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed that he should be given a bath and shrouded, but not covered his head or brought any perfume near to him.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: A man was crushed to death by his she-camel and was brought to Allah's Messenger who said, "Give him a bath and shroud him, but do not cover his head, and do not bring any perfume near to him, as he will be resurrected reciting Talbiya".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give someone who has died from being crushed by their she-camel a bath and shroud them according to Islamic tradition without covering their head or bringing any perfume near them .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the burial of a man who was crushed to death by his she-camel. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed that he should be given a bath, known as ghusl in Arabic, and then shrouded in cloth, known as kafan in Arabic. However, it was forbidden for anyone to cover his head or bring any perfume near him. He will be resurrected reciting talbiya which is an Islamic phrase used during Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. This hadith teaches us the importance of respecting those who have passed away and following the instructions of the Prophet ﷺ even if we don't understand why they are necessary at first glance. It also reminds us that everyone will eventually return to Allah on Judgement Day so we must always strive for righteousness in our lives while we still have time here on Earth.
