The Prophet's Journey Between As-Safa and Al-Marwah

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's journey between As-Safa and Al-Marwah.

It was narrated that Az-Zubair said: "They asked Ibn Umar: 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah walk rapidly between As-Safa and Al-Marwah?' He said: 'He was among a group of people and they walked rapidly, and I think they went at the same pace as him'." (Daif)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَأَلُوا ابْنَ عُمَرَ هَلْ رَأَيْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَمَلَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَقَالَ كَانَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَرَمَلُوا فَلاَ أُرَاهُمْ رَمَلُوا إِلاَّ بِرَمَلِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the story of the Prophet Muhammad's journey between two mountains, As Safa and Al Marwah, which is part of a ritual known as Sa'i. It was narrated by Az Zubair that when he asked Ibn Umar if he saw the Messenger of Allah walking rapidly between these two mountains, Ibn Umar replied that he was among a group of people who walked at the same pace as him. This hadith teaches us to be humble in our actions and to not show off or boast about our deeds. We should strive to do good deeds for Allah alone without expecting any reward from people or seeking recognition from them.
