Welcoming the Prophet with Love

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was welcomed by the boys of Banu Hashim when he arrived in Makkah, and he carried one of them in front of him and one behind him.

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that: when the Prophet came to Makkah, he was welcomed by the boys of Banu Hashim, and he carried one of them in front of him (on his mount) and one behind him.

QUICK LESSONS:
Show respect and kindness to others especially those who are younger than you or come from your own family or tribe. Be welcoming to others with open arms.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the love and respect that the people of Makkah had for the Prophet Muhammad. When he arrived in Makkah, he was welcomed by a group of boys from his own tribe, Banu Hashim. The Prophet showed his love for them by carrying one boy in front of him on his mount and another behind him. This shows us how much respect and kindness we should show to others, especially those who are younger than us or come from our own family or tribe. We should always be welcoming to others with open arms, just as these boys were welcoming to their beloved prophet.
