QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religious practices and abstain from activities which go against Islamic teachings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about refraining from eating during a state of Ihram. The narrator, Ibn Abbas, tells us that As-Sab bin Jaththamah offered some Onager meat to the Prophet while he was in a state of Ihram. However, instead of accepting it, the Prophet returned it back to him. This shows us that even though food may be offered to someone who is in a state of Ihram, they should not accept or eat it as this would go against Islamic teachings and values. It teaches us that we should always respect religious practices and abstain from doing anything which goes against them.
