It was narrated from 'Ata' that Ibn 'Abbas said to Zaid bin Arqam: "Do you not know that the Prophet was given a piece of game meant when he was in Ihram and he did not accept it?" He said: "Yes".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow rules during Hajj/Umrah even if it means sacrificing something you may want; Be mindful and respectful when engaging with nature during your pilgrimage; Accept what Allah has decreed for you without complaint; Obey Allah's commands without hesitation.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's refusal to accept a piece of game while he was in the state of Ihram. The state of Ihram is an important part of Hajj and Umrah, two Islamic pilgrimages that Muslims are obligated to perform at least once in their lifetime. During this time, certain activities are prohibited such as hunting or killing animals for food or sport. This hadith serves as an example for Muslims to follow when they are performing Hajj or Umrah and shows us the importance of following the rules even if it means sacrificing something we may want. It also teaches us that we should be mindful and respectful when engaging with nature during our pilgrimage.
