Performing 'Umrah with Companions

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went out with a large group of companions to perform 'Umrah and marked the Hadi and began the Talbiyah.

It was narrated that Al-Miswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin Al-Hakam said: "The Messenger of Allah went out during the time of Al-Hudaibiyah with between one-thousand and three-hundred, and one-thousand and five-hundred of his Companions. QUICK LESSONS:
Perform religious rituals together as a community
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went out on a journey to perform 'Umrah with between one thousand and three hundred to one thousand five hundred of his companions. When they arrived at Dhul-Hulaifah, he garlanded the Hadi which is an animal that is sacrificed as part of religious rituals in Islam. He also began reciting the Talbiyah which is a prayer that Muslims recite when performing Hajj or Umrah. This hadith teaches us about the importance of performing religious rituals in Islam such as Hajj or Umrah while also emphasizing on being together as a community when doing so. It also shows us how important it was for Muslims to follow their leader's example even during difficult times like this journey was for them.
