Wear something beneath the ankles if sandals are not available

This hadith explains the clothing that should be worn when entering a state of Ihram. According to this hadith, one should not wear a shirt, an 'Imamah, pants, burnouts or Khuffs unless they cannot find any sandals. If sandals are not available then something that comes beneath the ankles can be worn instead.
