Clothing Prohibitions for Muhrims

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade people in a state of Ihram from wearing clothes dyed with saffron or Wars.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade the Muhrim to wear clothes dyed with saffron or Wars".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ بِوَرْسٍ
