QUICK LESSONS:
Fast in the cause of Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward that comes with fasting one day in the cause of Allah. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah, who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad, that he said whoever fasts one day in the cause of Allah, they will be rewarded with a distance away from Hellfire equal to seventy autumns. This means that if someone fasted for one day out of their love and devotion to Allah, then they would be rewarded greatly and kept far away from any punishment or harm. This hadith teaches us how important it is to do good deeds and worship Allah as much as we can because it will bring us closer to Him and protect us from any harm or danger.
