Sunan an-Nasai 2207 (Book 22, Hadith 118) #16818
The Power of Prayer During Ramadan and Lailat Al-Qadr

SUMMARY: This hadith tells us that if we spend the nights of Ramadan and Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer, out of faith and with the hope of reward, our previous sins will be forgiven.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins, and whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Spend your nights praying sincerely out of faith with hope for a reward from Allah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of prayer during the holy month of Ramadan and on Laylatul Qadri. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever spends their nights in prayer during these two occasions out of faith and with the hope for a reward, their previous sins will be forgiven. This means that if we pray sincerely during these times, Allah will forgive us for any wrongdoings we have done before. It is important to remember to always have faith in Allah when praying so He can accept our prayers. Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that even though Allah may forgive us for our past mistakes, it does not mean we should continue making them; rather, it should motivate us to strive harder towards righteousness so as not to repeat them again.
