Rewarding Faithful Prayer During Ramadan

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) promised that whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer will be forgiven their previous sins.

It was narrated from Ibn Shahab that Abu Salamah told him that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Spend nights in prayer out of faith and with hope for reward during Ramadan.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) taught us that if we spend our nights during the holy month of Ramadan in prayer out of faith and with hope for reward, then Allah will forgive us for our past sins. This is a great reminder to all Muslims to take advantage of this blessed month by engaging in extra acts of worship such as praying at night or fasting during the day. It is also a reminder to have faith and trust that Allah will reward us for our good deeds. We should strive to make every moment count during this special time so that we can reap its rewards both now and in the hereafter.
