EXPLANATIONS:
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world fast from sunrise to sunset as an act of worship and devotion to Allah. Additionally, it is said that devils are chained up so they cannot tempt people into doing wrong things or lead them astray. This hadith reminds us that we should take advantage of this blessed month by doing good deeds in order to gain Allah's pleasure and mercy. We should also strive to stay away from sins so we can be saved from punishment in Hellfire.
