QUICK LESSONS:
Get your head shaved/hair cut short; Stay focused on your spiritual journey; Develop your inner self; Keep physical appearance simple; Show solidarity with other Muslims who may have different cultural practices when it comes to grooming themselves

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith narrated by 'Abdullah we learn that the Prophet and some of his companions got their heads shaved or hair cut short. This is a practice that is still done today in many Islamic cultures. It is a sign of humility and respect for the religion as well as an outward expression of faith. It also serves to remind us to keep our physical appearance modest and not be overly concerned with vanity or materialism. Additionally it can be seen as a way to show solidarity with other Muslims who may have different cultural practices when it comes to grooming themselves.

The act of shaving one's head or cutting one's hair short can also serve as a reminder for us to stay focused on our spiritual journey rather than getting too caught up in worldly matters such as fashion trends or beauty standards set by society. By keeping our physical appearance simple we are able to focus more on developing our inner selves which will ultimately lead us closer towards Allah SWT’s pleasure and mercy.
