QUICK LESSONS:
Show your love for Allah by wanting to be close to Him through prayer and other acts of worship .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the love of Allah. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Allah, the Most High, said: If My slave loves to meet Me, I love to meet him, and if he hates to meet Me, I hate to meet him”. This hadith teaches us that if we show our love for Allah by wanting to be close to Him through prayer and other acts of worship then He will also show His love for us in return. On the other hand, if we do not want anything to do with Him then He will not want anything to do with us either. We should always strive for a relationship with God based on mutual respect and understanding so that we can benefit from His mercy and grace in this life and in the hereafter.
