Praying Witr on a Camel

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to pray witr on a camel.

It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Yasir said: "Ibn Umar said to me that the Messenger of Allah used to pray witr on a camel".
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يُوتِرُ عَلَى الْبَعِيرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to pray witr on a camel. Witr is an extra prayer that Muslims perform at night after Isha prayer. It is usually performed in odd numbers of rakats, such as one, three or five rakats. This hadith shows us the importance of praying even when we are travelling or in difficult situations. It also teaches us that we should not neglect our prayers no matter what situation we are in and how busy our lives may be.
