Celebrate religious holidays according to Islamic teachings

The hadith narrated by Iyas bin Abi Ramlah tells us about how Mu'awiyah asked Zaid bin Arqam if he attended two Eid festivals with the Prophet Muhammad. Zaid replied that he did, and that on both occasions, the Prophet prayed at the beginning of each day and granted a concession with regard to Jumu'ah. This hadith teaches us about how important it is to celebrate religious holidays such as Eid in accordance with Islamic teachings. It also shows us how generous and merciful our beloved prophet was in granting concessions for those who were unable to attend Jumu’ah due to other commitments or obligations. We should strive to follow his example by being kind-hearted towards others even when we are faced with difficult situations or circumstances.
