EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of staying for the khutbah after offering the 'Eid prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) offered the 'Eid prayer and then encouraged people to stay if they wanted to listen to his khutbah. This shows that it is important for Muslims to stay and listen attentively when a religious sermon or lecture is being given as it contains valuable teachings from Allah's Messenger. It also teaches us that we should not leave in between prayers or lectures without a valid reason as this can be disrespectful towards those who are giving them. Furthermore, this hadith encourages us to take advantage of any opportunity we have to learn more about our religion and its teachings so that we can become better Muslims.
