QUICK LESSONS:
Pray until it passes
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the sun and moon eclipses, which are signs from Allah. It was narrated by Abu Bakrah that Prophet Muhammad said that these two celestial bodies do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone. If one sees an eclipse, then they should pray until it passes. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our actions as well as to have faith in Allah's power over all things in this world. We should also remember to take time out from our daily lives to pray when we witness such a phenomenon as an eclipse. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that no matter how powerful we may think we are, there are some things beyond our control - like natural phenomena - which can only be attributed to God's greatness and power over all things in this world.
