Prostration of Gratitude on Dhul-Yadain

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad prostrated twice after the salam on the day of Dhul-Yadain.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah prostrated twice after the salam on the day of Dhul-Yadain.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سَجَدَ يَوْمَ ذِي الْيَدَيْنِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ

On the day of Dhul-Yadain, Prophet Muhammad demonstrated his gratitude to Allah by prostrating twice after the salam. We should take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thankfulness in whatever way we can, whether it be through prayer or other acts of worship. By doing so, we will be able to reap the rewards from Allah and increase our faith in Him.
