Avoiding Distractions During Prayer

SUMMARY: Turning around during prayer is something that the Shaitan can take away from one's prayer.

It was narrated that Abu 'Atiyyah said: "Aishah said: 'Turning around during prayer is something that the Shaitan snatches from one's prayer'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Stay focused and concentrated on your prayers without any distractions or turning around during them .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu 'Atiyyah, was said by Aishah. It teaches us that when we are praying, we should not turn around or be distracted in any way. The Shaitan will try to take away our focus and concentration on the prayer if we do not stay focused and concentrated on it. We should strive to keep our minds clear of any distractions while praying so that our prayers are accepted and rewarded by Allah.
