The Prayer of 'Umar bin Abdul-aziz

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the prayer of 'Umar bin Abdul-aziz, which was said to be similar to that of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Anas bin Malik said: "I have never seen anyone whose prayer more closely resembles the prayer of the Messenger of Allah than this young man- meaning 'Umar bin Abdul-aziz. And we estimated that when bowing he said the Tasbih ten times and when prostrating he said the Tasbih ten times".

It is estimated that when bowing he said the Tasbih ten times and when prostrating he said it ten times as well. This hadith teaches us how important it is to pray in a manner similar to that which was done by Prophet Muhammad and his companions.
