Praying in Hot Weather

SUMMARY: Prostrating on garments during prayer due to heat.

It was narrated that Anas said: "When he prayed Zuhr behind the Messenger of Allah we would prostrate on our garments because of the heat".

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform prayers with dedication and sincerity even in difficult conditions like extreme temperatures.
EXPLANATIONS:
During hot weather, it is permissible to prostrate on one's clothing during prayer. This was narrated by Anas, who said that when the Messenger of Allah prayed Zuhr behind him, they would prostrate on their garments due to the heat. This shows that even in difficult conditions such as extreme temperatures, Muslims should still strive to perform their prayers with dedication and sincerity. It is important for Muslims to remember that prayer is a form of worship and should be done with respect and reverence towards God. Even if it means having to make slight adjustments such as prostrating on one's clothing instead of directly onto the ground, this should not deter us from fulfilling our religious obligations.
