SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised moderation in bowing and prostration during prayer, and not to rest one's forearms on the ground like a dog.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah said: "Be moderate in bowing and prostration, and do not rest your forearms along the ground like a dog".

QUICK LESSONS:
Practice moderation in bowing & prostration during prayer Respect & revere your prayers Connect with Allah through your prayers Improve yourself spiritually & morally through your prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that when we pray, we should do so with moderation. This means that when we bow or prostrate, we should not overdo it by going too low or too deep. We should also not rest our forearms on the ground like a dog does. This is because prayer is an act of worship to Allah and must be done with respect and reverence. It is important to remember that prayer is a time for us to connect with Allah, so it should be done with humility and sincerity.

The Prophet Muhammad also taught us that prayer can help us become better people by teaching us discipline, patience, gratitude, humility, and other virtues. By praying regularly and following the teachings of Islam during our prayers, we can become closer to Allah as well as improve ourselves spiritually and morally.
