This hadith is about the fear prayer, which is a special type of prayer that was offered by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated from Abu Bakr that the Prophet ﷺ offered this prayer and he led those who were behind him in two rak’ahs and those who came after them in two rak’ahs, so the Prophet ﷺ prayed four rak’ahs.
