Have an area dedicated solely for worshiping Allah

This hadith tells us about the importance of having a designated place for prayer. Umm Sulaim asked the Prophet Muhammad to come and pray in her house, so she could use it as a Musalla or prayer place. The Prophet accepted her request and went to her house where she had prepared a reed mat sprinkled with water for him to pray on. He then prayed on it, and those present also joined him in prayer. This hadith teaches us that we should have an area dedicated solely for worshiping Allah, as this is an important part of our faith. It also shows us how generous Umm Sulaim was by offering up her home as a place of worship for others to benefit from too.
