This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. It was narrated that two people, Al-Aswad and Alqamah, went to visit Abdullah bin Mas'ud. He asked them if they had prayed yet, and when they said no he told them to get up and pray. He then demonstrated the prayer for them by standing between the two of them with one on his right side and one on his left side. He did not use an Adhan or Iqamah before beginning his prayer but instead interlaced his fingers together while bowing down during sujood. He explained that he saw Prophet Muhammad doing this as well. This hadith teaches us that we should take part in our prayers with sincerity and humility as Prophet Muhammad did himself.
