SUMMARY: Praying in the Masjid of Quba is equivalent to performing an 'Umrah.

Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif said: "My father said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever goes out to his Masjid - the Masjid of Quba' and prays therein, that will be equivalent to 'Umrah'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Go out and pray at the Masjid of Quba .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif, tells us that praying in the Masjid of Quba is equivalent to performing an 'Umrah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that if we go out and pray at this particular masjid, it will be as if we have performed an 'Umrah - a pilgrimage to Mecca which Muslims are encouraged to do at least once in their lifetime. This hadith teaches us that even small acts can be rewarded greatly by Allah and encourages us to take advantage of any opportunity we have for worshiping Him. It also reminds us how important it is for Muslims to visit mosques regularly and perform prayers there as much as possible.
