Perform wudu’ when you touch your genital organ .

This hadith is about the importance of performing ablution, or wudu', after touching one's genital organ. Marwan bin Al-Hakam narrated that Busrah bint Safwan told him that the Messenger of Allah mentioned what wudu' is done for, and said that it should be performed after touching one's penis. 'Urwah sent someone to check this information, and she confirmed it to be true. This hadith teaches us that we must perform wudu' if we touch our genital organs in order to remain clean and pure before engaging in any religious activities such as prayer or reciting Quran.
