This hadith explains how to perform a ritual known as ‘Ghusl from Janabah’. It is a ritual that is done when one has become impure or unclean due to certain activities such as sexual intercourse or menstruation. The first step in this ritual is to wash one's private parts with water. Then one must rub their hands on either the ground or a wall before performing an ablution known as ‘Wudu’ which involves washing certain parts of the body such as face, arms and feet with water.
