Treat everyone with kindness and respect regardless of any physical or mental state they may be in; Respect those who are going through their menstrual cycle; Be considerate of others; Follow the advice given by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH .

The hadith narrated by Jumai' bin 'Umair tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would embrace his wives when they were menstruating. He also advised them to wrap a wide Izar around themselves before he did so. This shows us that the Prophet was very considerate of his wives and respected their privacy even during this time.
