Asking for Assistance During Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was in the mosque and asked his wife Aisha for a garment, even though she was not praying.

Abu Hurairah said: "While the Messenger of Allah was in the Masjid, he said: 'O 'Aishah, hand me the garment'. She said: 'I am not praying'. He said: 'It is not in your hand'. So she gave it to him".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ قَالَ ‏"‏ يَا عَائِشَةُ نَاوِلِينِي الثَّوْبَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي لاَ أُصَلِّي ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي يَدِكِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَنَاوَلَتْهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's request to his wife Aisha while he was in the mosque. Even though she was not praying at that time, he still asked her to help him with something. This hadith teaches us that we should always be willing to help others regardless of whether or not we are engaged in an activity ourselves. It also shows us that it is important to be respectful when asking for assistance from someone else and that we should never take advantage of their kindness or generosity. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us of the importance of prayer and how it should be done with respect and reverence towards Allah Almighty.
