Sunan an-Nasai 218 (Book 1, Hadith 219) #14825
Praying During Menstruation

SUMMARY: The hadith is about a woman who asked the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) if she should stop praying due to her not becoming pure, to which he replied that it was not menstruation and she should continue praying until her period comes.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish said to the Messenger of Allah : 'O Messenger of Allah , I do not become pure. Should I stop praying? The Messenger of Allah said: 'That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when the same amount of time as your regular period has passed, then wash the blood from yourself and pray'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly even during difficult times such as menstrual cycle .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of prayer in Islam and how it is still necessary even during menstruation. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) clarified that the woman's lack of purity was due to a vein and not menstruation, meaning that she could still pray until her period came. This teaches us that prayer is an important part of our faith and must be done regularly, even when we are going through difficult times such as during our menstrual cycle. It also shows us how compassionate the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was towards his followers, as he took time out of his day to answer this woman's question with kindness and understanding.
