QUICK LESSONS:
Wash your hands before praying

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of washing one's hands before prayer. It was narrated by Umm Salamah that the Prophet Muhammad ate from a shoulder and then went out to pray without touching water. This shows us that it is important to cleanse ourselves before we pray in order to be spiritually pure and ready for worship. Even though the Prophet did not touch water in this instance, it does not mean that we should follow suit; rather, we should take care to always wash our hands before prayer as a sign of respect for Allah and His commands.
