Sunan an-Nasai 34 (Book 1, Hadith 34) #14640
Avoid Urinating in Burrows

SUMMARY: It is disliked to urinate into a burrow in the ground because it may be a dwelling-place of the jinn.

It was narrated from Qatadah, from 'Abdullah bin Sarjis, that the Prophet of Allah said: "None of you should urinate into a burrow in the ground". They said to Qatadah: "Why is it disliked to urinate into a burrow in the ground?" He said: "It is said that these are dwelling-places of the jinn".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect others and avoid harming them with your actions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is disliked to urinate into a burrow in the ground. The reason for this is because these burrows may be dwelling-places of the jinn. The jinn are supernatural creatures mentioned in Islamic texts and believed by Muslims to exist. Therefore, we should avoid doing something that could potentially disturb them or cause harm to them. This hadith also teaches us about respect and consideration for others, even if they are not human beings. We should always think about how our actions might affect those around us and try our best not to cause any harm or discomfort to anyone else.
