Listen carefully , Verify any information heard before accepting as truth .

This hadith is about the importance of listening to others and being careful when attributing a saying to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Salama b. Kuhail heard something from Jundub, but he was not sure if it was actually said by Allah's Messenger or not.
