The Tailbone and Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, all of mankind will be recreated from their tailbone.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: The earth would consume all of the son of Adam except his tailbone. From it he was created, and from it he will be recreated (on the Day of Resurrection).
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ، - يَعْنِي الْحِزَامِيَّ - عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ كُلُّ ابْنِ آدَمَ يَأْكُلُهُ التُّرَابُ إِلاَّ عَجْبَ الذَّنَبِ مِنْهُ خُلِقَ وَفِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Day of Judgment, when all people will be resurrected and brought back to life. According to this hadith, Allah will recreate everyone from their tailbones. This means that even though a person's body may have been destroyed or decayed over time, Allah can still bring them back to life on the Day of Judgment. This teaches us that no matter what happens in this world, Allah has ultimate power over everything and He can bring us back to life if He wills it. It also reminds us that we should always strive to do good deeds in our lives so that we can be rewarded on the Day of Judgment.
