Sahih Muslim 2939b (Book 54, Hadith 140) #14433
The Insignificance of Dajjal

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the insignificance of Dajjal in comparison to Allah's greatness.

Mughira b. Shu'ba reported that none asked Allah's Apostle about Dajjal more than I asked him. I (one of the narrators other than Mughira b. Shu'ba) said: What did you ask? Mughira replied: I said that the people alleged that he would have a mountain load of bread and mutton and rivers of water. Thereupon he said: He would be more insignificant in the eye of Allah compared with all this.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the insignificance of Dajjal in comparison to Allah's greatness. It was narrated by Mughira b. Shu'ba, who asked Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about the rumors that were circulating regarding Dajjal having a mountain load of bread and mutton and rivers of water. In response, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that he would be more insignificant in the eye of Allah compared with all this, meaning that no matter how much power or wealth one has, it will never compare to the power and greatness that belongs only to Allah Almighty. This hadith teaches us not to be impressed by worldly possessions or power as they are nothing compared to what belongs only to God Almighty; instead we should focus on our relationship with Him through prayer, good deeds, and faithfulness so we can gain His pleasure which is far greater than any material possession or worldly success one could ever achieve.
