EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of remembering and not forgetting. It is narrated by A'mash that Allah has commanded us to remember Him, as He says in the Quran, “And remember Allah much” [Quran 33:41 ]. We should also remember our duties and obligations towards others, such as being kind to our parents, being generous with our wealth, helping those in need etc. We should also strive to remember what we have learned so that we can apply it in our lives. On the other hand, we should try to avoid forgetting things which are important for us or for others. If we forget something important then it can lead to negative consequences such as missing an appointment or failing an exam etc. Therefore this hadith reminds us of the power of remembrance and encourages us to make use of it in order to benefit ourselves and others around us.
