Bloodshed in the Last Hour

SUMMARY: The Last Hour will not come until there is much bloodshed.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: The last Hour will not come unless there is much bloodshed. They said: What is Harj? Thereupon he said: Bloodshed. bloodshed.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالُوا وَمَا الْهَرْجُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the coming of the last hour and how it will be accompanied by much bloodshed. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked what Harj meant and he replied that it was a term for bloodshed. This hadith teaches us that we should be prepared for difficult times ahead and to remain steadfast in our faith during these times. It also reminds us to stay away from any kind of violence or aggression as this could lead to more bloodshed which would bring closer the coming of the last hour.
