The Consequences of Fighting Between Muslims

SUMMARY: Two Muslims should not fight each other, as it will lead them to Hell-Fire.

Abu Bakra reported Allah's Messenger as saying: When two Muslims (confront each other) and the one amongst them attacks his brother with a weapon, both of them are at the brink of Hell-Fire. And when one of them kills his companion, both of them get into Hell-Fire.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a warning from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about the consequences of fighting between two Muslims. It is reported that he said that when two believers confront each other and one of them attacks the other with a weapon, both are at risk of entering Hell-Fire. If one kills his companion, then both will enter into Hell-Fire. This hadith serves as a reminder to all believers that they should not fight each other and instead seek peace and reconciliation in order to avoid such dire consequences. It also teaches us that we must be mindful of our actions and think twice before engaging in any kind of violence or aggression against another person, especially if they are fellow believers.
